July is here and you'd think that we are spending everyday out on the deck enjoying the sunshiny days!! as most of you know, with all the rains, it has slowed down our activities that are held outside but be sure and drive by just to look at the beautiful flowers that are flourishing from all the showers! our best news for the month is that ruby becker has returned to her home! also cottonwood had the privilege in june of welcoming sharon westfahl, and stella thiessen. we have added two days to our bowling schedule for the month of june and july because we have a great group of jr. volunteers to help us. so, our 1st bowling game went to edwin schmidt. he was the only one who came up with a spare or a strike! our 2nd game went to edwin again as he threw all strikes each time he bowled!!! speaking of jr. volunteers here are michael beye and caitlyn reimer helping us with exercises this week. cottonwood corner ladies tried a new recipe. stella thiessen and lola sue huckstep helped make a delicious item called "focaccia". everybody sat around and waited for a second piece instead of heading off to lunch! focaccia is a bread that was made before pizza was invented! look where we went on our country cruise this month! can you read the sign? edwin and laura schmidt and sharon westfahl enjoyed a beautiful cruise around lake kanapolis and free online video poker game or poker casino game.
